Handforged Nordic Axe ‘ARNE‘ is made from hardened steel G10600 with a leather case. This durability axe may be used for various purposes, but it takes on the characteristics of its namesake and does an excellent job as a Viking axe. An axe was every Viking’s trusty tool and a reliable, readily available weapon of choice among Norse people.     All I have to say is wow. This is beyond beautiful. It’s hard to see the words but they say, “to the days you need to get lost in your cave” it turned out perfect. I am not an ax person myself but my husband is beyond thrilled with this gift. Not only is the item gorgeous but Nordic Era sent a hand written note with the gift .
