Shipping Time and Policy for Axes and Hammers

Nordic Era Axes and Hammers Smithy is based in Kyiv, Ukraine. 70% of our products we have in stock and typically post items within 5 working days of payment being received however this can vary. If you have some special date, please feel free to contact us and we will make the order with high priority. Any items with different dispatch times are noted so in the listing.

Due to the war in Ukraine, the production time of axes and hammers can take up to 2 weeks. But don’t worry, the smithy is in a safe place.

Standard Tracked Delivery :

International shipping times from Ukraine depend on the mode of transport being used to transport your package. For packages traveling by air, packages may take between 14 to 20 working days before arriving. Packages traveling by ship or road may take 25 to 30 working days to arrive. Working days are defined by Ukrposhta are weekdays that do not fall on a national holiday, but times may also be delayed by weather conditions, operational backlogs, or customs.

Europe typically takes 2-6 working days
USA, Canada takes 3-8 working days
Australia takes 7-15 working days

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs.
If buyers don’t pay any customs and import taxes and the package was returned, Nordic Eray company after returning the package back will refund money minus the shipping cost for both directions.

TAXES & DUTIES

We do not charge VAT for our items whether you are a business or an individual. It is possible that if you are located outside of the EU you may be subject to import duties, custom charges or taxes. The customer, you, are responsible for the payment of any such import costs. Nordic Era has no control over such charges, cannot predict their amount and will not cover them. By purchasing from our site you accept responsibility for covering any taxes and duties you may be charged.

FAULTY ADDRESSES & P.O. BOXES

if the order is returned to us due to faulty addresses, failure of client to collect their order, inability of the courier to deliver to P.O. boxes or Military bases only the value of the items and not the delivery will be returned. Please note that incorrect addresses or those written using special characters or Military Base addresses may cause a delay to the dispatch, cancellation of your order or returning of the item to us.

RE-POSTING RETURNED ORDERS

Nordic Era is not responsible for the cost of re-shipping an order which has been returned to us by no fault of our own or by a failure of the customer to pick up the parcel. We are happy to reship the items, however the cost of postage is the buyer’s responsibility to cover again.

Wrong address supplied

You as a buyer are responsible for providing us with your correct address. Should you provide us with the wrong address, through no fault of our own and contact us after the item has been shipped to change the address, you will not be entitled to a refund or re-shipping unless the item is returned to us. If you have provided us with the correct address but we shipped it to the wrong one, we will ship a replacement out. It’s only fair.

Nordic Era company is able to send your order to almost any country in the world (except countries that do not accept parcels from abroad, countries unrecognized by the world community, territories in which hostilities are being conducted, and hot spots). At the moment, we have sent orders to more than 70 countries and to thousands of customers around the world. Delivery around the world is carried out using air travel.

We have two options for worldwide shipping: a standard one and FedEx Express.

Standard shipping – the list of countries and price for shipping :

Shipping to the USA takes from 7 to 15 days. The shipping cost is $8.95.

Shipping to the countries of the European Union is carried out within 5-10 days. We ship to Europe via Landmark Global with the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) or via TNT.

Shipping to the rest of the world may take between 14 to 20 working days before arriving.

Jewelry Storage

We craft all our jewelry only after the client places an order because we do not store any jewelry in our warehouses. Every day the best jewelers of the country make many jewelry products, that’s why shipments happen every day, except weekends. If your product was created on the weekend, we will ship it on the next day after the weekend. In this case, the jewelry will be stored in the workshop until the shipment. We usually need from 2 to 5 working days to place an order and send it to you. If you ordered a ring with engraving or jewelry with a precious and semi-precious stone, we will still make it within 2-5 working days.
