The axe handle is a very light wood making it easier to swing. I was expecting the handle to be thinner, which it isnt, which is a good thing. The axe head comes with a log splitting edge which is great for historical accuracy for it was a tool not a weapon. it is the correct quality at the correct price. Good job Nordic Era.
